Bombardier Aerospace showcases aircraft, superior customer support and aircraft maintenance services at Farnborough Airshow

Bombardier looks forward to its arrival at the 49th edition of the Farnborough International Airshow where it will showcase its iconic and sustainable aircraft and share the latest progress on its new programs with customers, suppliers, government officials and media representatives.

Reflecting the important role the Farnborough Airshow fulfills within the aviation industry, six of Bombardier's industry-leading aircraft will be on static display. They include the Learjet 75, the Challenger 350, the Challenger 605 and the Global 6000 business jets, as well as the Q400 NextGen turboprop and CRJ900 NextGen regional jet.

In addition, guests will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the future of commercial flight by visiting the Commercial Aircraft Hospitality Lounge, which will house the mock-up of the CSeries airliner's flight deck and cabin demonstrator. The Global 7000 aircraft mock-up, the largest mock-up built in business aviation, will be open for private viewings during the show at the TAG Farnborough fixed-based operator (FBO) hangar.

Bombardier Business Aircraft enjoys a strong leadership position in Europe with an installed base of over 500 business jets, representing one third of the overall business aviation market. Bombardier offers the industry's largest product portfolio covering the light to ultra long-range segments, including new aircraft such as the Learjet 70, Learjet 75, Learjet 85, Challenger 350, Global 7000 and Global 8000 aircraft. Since last year, Bombardier has seen the entrance into service of three platforms, the Learjet 70, Learjet 75 and Challenger 350 aircraft, along with the successful unveiling of the Global 7000 aircraft mock-up at EBACE in May this year. With such a product lineup, and focus on innovation, Bombardier is best positioned to respond to the growing travel requirements of its customer base in Europe and worldwide.

Bombardier always finds more ways to put its customers first. With the grand opening of the Singapore Service Centre this past February and the addition of a Parts Depot and Regional Support Offices for Business and Commercial Aircraft in Johannesburg, Africa, Bombardier is providing its operators with a competitive edge through a steadily growing worldwide aftermarket service network.

Bombardier's local support networks around the world consist of more than 60 maintenance facilities, 10 wholly owned service centres in Europe, Singapore and the United States, 22 Regional Support Office locations in 13 countries and superior aircraft parts availability sustained by 13 parts facilities on five continents. Bombardier's team of field service representatives are also available to provide customers with on-site technical support and AOG coordination when required. Bombardier's unique OEM knowledge is at the heart of its pilot and technical training, which includes real world experienced instructors, sophisticated flight simulators, Flight Training Devices and more.
