Romania-based flight school Transylvania Wings has purchased an en‐1000x FNPT II simulator to add it to its inventory.

The unit features SEP simple G1000 and MEP G1000 configurations to help students better transition to the real aircraft. It will be installed with a 3TV visual system to reduce its footprint, and additional options offered include two uninterrupted power supply (UPS) devices to protect the simulator in case of a power failure.

The device is expected to be installed in the upcoming months at Transylvania Wings' base in Ghimbav.

Simulator manager Bogdan Ioan Hiticas says: “The certified simulator is a project Transylvania Wings has been carefully considering for the best part of the last year. It represent a core training equipment that will bring flight school students to the standard of training airlines and other commercial aviation operators expect from pilot licence holders. Upon testing a wide variety of simulators we were pleasantly surprised with the entrol en-1000x FNPT II. The handling and control feedback feel as real as it can get, the visuals are fantastic and the software runs smoothly.

"We are excited to be working with entrol on this project, a leader in the industry of flight simulators. We would like to thank the entire team at entrol for the level of professionalism shown thus far. We believe our students will greatly benefit from this cooperation.”
