Nomad paves the way for Cayman maintenance
Nomad Technics will now be able to carry out inspections and repair work on Cayman-registered Challenger 300, 600, 850 series, Global Express XRS, 5000, 6000 and Legacy 600 and 650 aircraft.

Nomad Technics has received maintenance approval 269-CAY-AMO-2019 (Initial) issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands.

This approval certifies that the company is an approved maintenance organisation fulfilling the Overseas Territory Aviation Requirements set by the CAA, and can carry out maintenance inspection and non-routine repair work on Cayman Islands-registered Bombardier Challenger 300, 600, 850 series, Bombardier Global Express XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 aircraft.

“We are excited that we can now offer line and base maintenance as well as AOG services to customers who fly a Cayman Islands registered aircraft,” says Roman Hug, VP and general manager of Nomad Technics.

“This is a great achievement for Nomad Technics and will certainly be appreciated by operators who have a further choice to service their business jet,” adds director of quality, safety and compliance Christian Sacker.

Nomad Technics, the maintenance division of Nomad Aviation, is an EASA Part-145 approved organisation and provides maintenance on Bombardier Challenger 300, 600, 850 series, Bombardier Global Express XRS, Global 5000, Global 6000 and Embraer Legacy 600 and 650 business jets. The company occupies its own 7,400 sqm hangar together with 7,000 sqm of additional ramp space at the International EuroAirport in Basel, Switzerland, where it offers also hangarage services for aircraft up to the size of the Boeing 737 series and the Airbus A320 family.
