ATE makes it a Grand first for Slovakia
Air Transport Europe (ATE) of the Slovak Republic has ordered two Grand light twin engine helicopters with an option to add two more.

Air Transport Europe (ATE) of the Slovak Republic has ordered two Grand light twin engine helicopters with an option to add two more. The helicopters, which will be used for mountain rescue and EMS, are the first of their kind to be operated in the country.

Established in 1991, Air Transport Europe LLC is a privately-owned Slovakian liability limited company whose helicopters are licensed by the ministry of health.

ATE also offers maintenance, overhaul, modifications, upgrade and spare parts and is an authorised A109 K2 service centre. However, the main thrust is on EMS which is carried out from five out of ATE's six bases across Slovakia. And the company says it believes that the advanced EMS-configured helicopter is well-equipped to safely accomplish some of the most demanding EMS/SAR missions in Europe coping with a wide variety of environmental and weather conditions.
