PrivatAir orders second 787
PrivatAir has ordered a second Boeing 787 for 2016 to augment its first which is to be delivered in 2012.

PrivatAir has ordered a second Boeing 787 for 2016 to augment its first which is to be delivered in 2012. The order comes as Swissport and PrivatAir report the continuing expansion of their Geneva-based joint venture PrivatPort, launched in 2003. In 2007, turnover grew 40 per cent and rapid growth continued in the first quarter of this year, PrivatPort reports. It adds: "The company is focusing on the creation of FBO partnerships in Europe as well as the extension of the current business and customer retaining programme." PrivatPort provides PrivatAir's private charter ground services. In 2007, the PrivatAir charter team doubled in size and experienced a 30 per cent growth in revenue, the company says. PrivatAir's fleet includes a 49-seat Boeing 757 and a 50-seat Boeing 767. PrivatAir also provides access to hundreds of other specialist charter aircraft through a global network of preferred partners.
