Ambulance and maritime search and rescue specialist Norrlandsflyg of Sweden is taking delivery of a third Sikorsky S-76C+ in February as it expands its fleet to meet growing demand. Norrlandsflyg's Monica Hedstrom says it will be put into service after customisation by Keystone Helicopter Holdings in the United States to meet the specific demands of search and rescue.

"Keystone has done completion work on all our Sikorsky S-76s and it knows our exact requirements," says Hedstrom.

The completion specialist, taken over by Sikorsky in 2005, provides full service engineering, completion and technical support for commercial helicopters, as well as air medical flight operations. The Norrlandsflyg fleet has grown substantially with four additions in 2006. It now includes two S-76Cs as well as the two S-76C+s that are being joined by the third.
