Pilot killed in crash landing
A pilot was killed, and his four passengers injured, two seriously, when their Piper PA34-220T crashed into an agricultural building near San Javier, Spain. According to the Spanish accident investigation report, the aircraft had taken off from Robledillo del Mohedano Airport, Guadalajara, Spain, en-route for San Javier, Murcia, Spain on April 29 this year.

A pilot was killed, and his four passengers injured, two seriously, when their Piper PA34-220T crashed into an agricultural building near San Javier, Spain.

According to the Spanish accident investigation report, the aircraft had taken off from Robledillo del Mohedano Airport, Guadalajara, Spain, en-route for San Javier, Murcia, Spain on April 29 this year.

Approximately seven kilometers from their destination, the pilot called air traffic control to report an engine failure saying that he was going to make a forced landing.

While attempting to land the aircraft in an industrial park, the aircraft hit the agricultural building, the impact destroying the aircraft.

The aircraft, registration EC-IYY, was registered to Flight Training Europe.
