German aircraft sales company Air Alliance has extended its sales catchment for the FAA-certified

SJ30-2 jet to Austria, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

The company has received four orders so far for the aircraft, with more expected as the marketing campaign develops. Sino Swearingen, which manufactures the aircraft, is expected to produce 10 aircraft within the first year, increasing production to 30 and 50 jets in the subsequent years, explained Axel Beimdiek, Air Alliance's sales manager.

Sino Swearingen is organising the slow acceleration of the production rate, as the company states that it wants to focus on producing high quality aircraft.

The first customer aircraft for a German company is expected to arrive at its base at Siegerland Airport between April and June 2006. Said Beimdiek: "One of the aircraft's main selling points is the range, which will allow clients to fly to destinations like Russia without having to stop to refuel. It is also fantastic looking and, so far, people seem to like it."

The SJ30-2 offers a range of 2,500 nm, high cruise speed of Mach 0.83 and a certified altitude of 49,000 feet.
