Aero-Dienst expands square footage in Vienna
The highly competent 10-member Vienna Aero-Dienst team of technicians, inspectors, logistics and work preparation specialists serves the entire Bombardier product range as well as Dassault types.

Aero-Dienst, the Nuremberg, Germany-based full-service provider for business aviation and air ambulance services, will inaugurate the expansion of the hangar space at its Vienna maintenance line station in Austria on 1 April. Increasing the area to around 16,145 sq ft is the result of the growth strategy that Aero-Dienst has been pursuing for a number of years.

Aero-Dienst has responded to increasing demand for large aircraft maintenance services by increasing its hangar capacity, while at the same time offering its maintenance customers access to the modern infrastructure of Vienna Airport FBO, which recently celebrated the reopening of its freshly renovated VIP lounge.

Aero-Dienst has been providing maintenance services for business aviation at Vienna Airport longer than any other company located there. As Christian Weigl, Aero-Dienst's station manager in Vienna, puts it: “Our nearly 18 years of good partnership with Vienna airport are very important to us. We appreciate the FBO's excellent service quality. Our regular Austrian and international customers who land in Vienna a lot use these stops to have us do maintenance work; they are also attracted by the high traffic and central location of Vienna airport as a site for business aviation.”

The highly competent 10-member Vienna Aero-Dienst team of technicians, inspectors, logistics and work preparation specialists serves the entire Bombardier product range, from the Learjet 45 to the Global 7500, as well as the Dassault 2000EX EASy and 900EX EASy Falcon jets as a Dassault authorised service centre. The team completes up to 500 maintenance events every year, and it includes five licensed technicians with multiple type ratings and more than 25 years of experience each.

“Before the end of this year we will fulfil our pledge to consistently focus on our customers' needs and expand our range of maintenance services to include other aircraft types,” says Weigl, adding proudly: “We're looking forward to this and are aiming to announce it at EBACE that will take place 28-30 May in Geneva, Switzerland.”

In addition to its headquarters in Nuremberg, Aero-Dienst also operates stations in Austria at Vienna, Klagenfurt and Graz, and a maintenance station near Munich in Oberpfaffenhofen. The component shop in Landsberg am Lech allows Aero-Dienst to provide fast and local repairs for maintenance operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
