C&L Aerospace has purchased two Citation Sovereign and two Citation XLS aircraft for teardown. Disassembly projects are underway on two of the aircraft with the other two projects already completed at C&L's Bangor, Maine MRO facility.

"With these aircraft, we are launching a tip-to-tail parts programme for Sovereign and XLS operators," says CEO Chris Kilgour. "We recognise the scarcity in the market for these particular aircraft parts, so we are making investments now and in the future to be a reliable partner for those looking to source parts in the aftermarket."

C&L has plans to purchase and teardown several more Citation Sovereign and XLS aircraft over coming years.

As with all of C&L's inventory, these parts will be inspected and made ready for sale. The process includes photographing and barcoding each part and its corresponding documentation before sending them as viewable links on all customer quotes, promoting more transparency during the buying process.
