Vonaer inks Autoflight agreement for eVTOL services
Vonaer is to procure 20 Autoflight eVTOL aircraft, targeting the Asian market and exploring options for deployment both locally and internationally.
Autoflight vice president Kellan Jai with Vonaer CEO Shin Min after signing the MOU at the Autoflight demonstration in Shenzhen, China.

South Korea-based UAM platform Moviation, dba Vonaer, is to integrate Autoflight's eVTOL aircraft onto its platform. This follows a successful public demonstration showcasing the aircraft's capabilities, during which two eVTOL aircraft executed formation flights under remote control, traversing a 55km stretch over the Hong Kong-Macao strait in just 20 minutes while maintaining a 150m altitude. The noise level was approximately 65dB, similar to typical urban ambient noise.

Following the demonstration, Vonaer CEO Shin Min emphasised the importance of safety and maintenance, saying: "Although there are numerous eVTOL manufacturers, I believe that it is crucial to operate services with aircraft whose safety has been verified. Witnessing approximately 500 employees directly producing and testing core components of eVTOL, such as motors, batteries, avionics and propellers, in a 30,000sqm factory was very impressive."

Vonaer is poised to procure 20 Autoflight eVTOL aircraft, targeting the Asian market and exploring options for domestic deployment. The objective is to integrate the Vonaer platform for urban air mobility services, both locally and internationally.
