The all-new Gulfstream G700 has passed 50 city-pair speed records en route to the Singapore Airshow.

The G700 achieved its 50th speed record on a carbon-neutral flight connecting Los Angeles to Nice in France, travelling 5,197nm/9,625km in 10 hours and 13 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90. The aircraft then set its 51st speed record, also a carbon-neutral flight, from Nice to Singapore, making the 5,754nm/10,656km trip in just 11 hours and 30 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90.

These flights are a fast follow to a city-pair record set by the G700 on a trip from Tokyo to Savannah in December 2023. The new ultra large cabin aircraft made the 6,365nm/11,78km journey in 10 hours and 53 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.91.

“These latest records once again prove that the G700 can help our customers reach their destinations faster,” says president Mark Burns. “We are excited to return to the Singapore Airshow as we continue to see impressive business growth in the Asia-Pacific region. Demand for Gulfstream’s high performance capabilities has never been greater, and we look forward to showcasing our next-generation aircraft, which lead the industry in innovation, performance and cabin comfort.”

The G700 features the most spacious cabin in business aviation and has higher than originally announced performance with a maximum range of 7,750nm/14,353km at Mach 0.85 and 6,650nm/12,316km at Mach 0.90, as well as a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, making it the fastest aircraft in the Gulfstream fleet.
