Líder Aviação gains EASA maintenance approval aircraft
Líder Aviação now has approval to carry out maintenance on European-registered aircraft and has extended its contract to support Gulfstream aircraft for a further two years.

Lider Aviacao has received another approval for maintenance services, this time for aircraft registered in European countries.

"With this certification, we are further expanding our operations in executive aviation, offering a complete portfolio of maintenance services ranging from small repairs to major inspections," says COO Bruna Assumpção.

EASA granted authorisation for the Brazilian company to provide services in this segment for the same models and manufacturers that it already provides today.

"We have a lot of experience in this segment as the company's aircraft maintenance unit was created in 1971," says maintenance director Thiago Damasceno. "We recently renewed the contract with Gulfstream to continue the services as the manufacturer's authorised service centre. This proves the excellence and reliability of our maintenance services."

From now on, Líder will support aircraft with a European registration anywhere in the world, with the same quality control and experience with which it already handles aircraft with Brazilian, Argentine and American registrations. These aircraft can be taken to Líder's workshops in Brazil or be serviced by the Líder in Loco service in which its professionals travel to the base where the aircraft is located, with all the necessary tooling equipment, to provide support in maintenance.

Its ASC contract for aircraft across the entire Gulfstream line is extended for another two years, so Líder will continue to provide 24 hour support, seven days a week to the operators of the North American manufacturer in Brazil.

"The renewal of this contract with a company like Gulfstream is a source of pride for us and reaffirms that this partnership is a success," says Assumpção. The company has focused on safety across its 65 year history, and this gives further confirmation of its experience and service quality.
