Blackhawk Aerospace has welcomed Bill Cadow to its team as engine sales manager. In his new role, he will manage the Engine Obsolescence Program, which will replace engines that are no longer in production and are cost prohibitive to maintain with newer, time-continued engines using Blackhawk's STC process. His appointment will strengthen Blackhawk's engine sales efforts, enabling the company to better serve customers through innovative products and solutions.

Cadow brings more than 40 years of general aviation service experience to Blackhawk's team. He attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was licensed as an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. Prior to joining Blackhawk, he held numerous positions within several large organisations including Raisbeck Engineering and Beechcraft.

"We are thrilled for Bill to join our team," says SVP sales and marketing Edwin Black. "His wealth of knowledge and passion for aviation makes him a great asset to our organisation, and we are confident that his background aligns perfectly with the vision for Blackhawk's future."

When talking about how his experience has prepared him to support Blackhawk customers, Cadow says: "Starting hands on, the time spent performing and supervising aircraft maintenance operations provided invaluable experience and constant exposure of working with varied customers in a time and safety-critical environment, which required gaining understanding of individual customer needs to achieve satisfactory solutions for all parties.

"I am excited and honoured to join the Blackhawk team and expand the offerings of the company. I look forward to helping customers find the solution that best fits their needs."
