Global Jet Capital has bolstered its commitment to sustainability with Azzera, a provider of carbon offsetting and compliance solutions for business aviation.

Global Jet Capital intends to compensate for its scope 1 and 2 emissions by purchasing a carefully curated portfolio of high-quality carbon offsetting projects identified by Azzera in adherence with the Oxford Principles for Offsetting. The Oxford Principles are designed to help ensure that carbon offsetting projects have been validated for their contribution toward achieving net zero.

Additionally, the partnership will extend to supporting the company's ongoing CleanFlight programme, which was originally launched in 2020 to offer clients a flexible and seamless pathway to measure and compensate the greenhouse gas emissions related to their business aircraft. Clients will gain access to a diverse portfolio of regionally based carbon credit projects, and will enjoy access to compliance management solutions including a specialised CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation) specific portfolio that ensures adherence to CORSIA requirements.

CEO Vivek Kaushal says: “We believe Azzera is an ideal sustainability partner for us. With its deep industry experience and strong ties to the business aviation sector, coupled with its strategic presence in both North America and Europe, Azzera is uniquely positioned to support our global client base in achieving their sustainability goals."

“Our collaboration with Global Jet Capital merges their financial expertise with our innovative sustainability solutions. Together, we're not only providing answers for Global Jet Capital's clients but also nurturing a culture of responsibility and foresight. We are delighted to be partnering with such a pioneering company in business aviation,” adds Azzera CEO Puja Mahajan.
