Jet East strengthens South American maintenance offering
With civil authorisation, the company is eligible to perform maintenance services on aircraft from Mexico, ensuring minimal downtime for their aircraft.

US maintenance company Jet East has obtained Mexican Agencia Federal de Aviación Civil (AFAC) authorisation, allowing it to perform maintenance services on aircraft from Mexico.

The maintenance facilities for Jet East in Dallas, Texas and West Palm Beach, Florida align perfectly with the demand for aircraft maintenance near Mexico. Monterrey, Mexico's second-largest aviation hub, is situated 575 miles from its Dallas facility and Toluca, another prominent aviation centre, is in relatively close proximity to the company facilities in Texas and Florida. These geographical advantages enable Jet East to provide prompt and reliable maintenance services to customers from Mexico, ensuring minimal downtime for their aircraft.

Jet East aims to meet increasing customer demand through opportunities like the AFAC authorisation. The team understands the critical importance of getting aircraft back in the air promptly.

“We are thrilled to have obtained the Mexican authorisation, which strengthens our position as a leading provider of aircraft maintenance services,” says international sales director Ozzy Torres. “We look forward to welcoming customers from Mexico so they have the opportunity to experience the Jet East difference as they entrust us for their aircraft maintenance needs.”

In June this year, Jet East, received certification from the Brazil National Agency for Civil Aviation (ANAC) to perform aircraft maintenance for Brazilian registered customers, particularly from its Palm Beach International airport facility in Florida, and in August it secured Bermuda BCAA authorisation. Bermuda is home to a significant number of registered aircraft, making the authorisation an attractive certificate, which includes tax incentives for aircraft registration.

Jet East also recently obtained the Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approval authorisation.
