Asia Pacific operators will benefit from Honeywell partnership
This collaboration brings Honeywell's advanced avionics products and retrofit, modification and upgrade solutions to helicopter operators in the Asia Pacific commercial aircraft and defence sectors.
Galaxy Aerospace is now an authorised Honeywell avionics dealer.

Honeywell Aerospace has appointed Malaysia MRO Galaxy Aerospace as an authorised avionics dealer. The strategic partnership between the two companies will provide pilots and crews with advanced avionics solutions in order to meet the safety, situational awareness and performance requirements for various missions such as search and rescue, maritime surveillance, firefighting and VIP transport.

This collaboration brings Honeywell's advanced avionics products and retrofit, modification and upgrade (RMU) solutions to helicopter operators in the Asia Pacific commercial aircraft and defence sectors.

“We are thrilled to partner with Galaxy Aerospace once again, this time extending our partnership beyond the Malaysian AW139 fleet. Over the past year, we worked closely together to provide best-in-class product lines and services for Malaysia, an important market for Honeywell,” says vice president, defence and space Asia Pacific Sathesh Ramiah. “This latest agreement is spurred on by the growth potential of the Asia Pacific defence sector, and I look forward to expanding our presence and enhancing our support for modernisation programmes in the region.”

“As a leading aircraft and helicopter MRO in the region, Galaxy Aerospace is excited to work together with Honeywell to provide the most advanced visibility and confidence in the critical operations of our clients,” adds managing director Dato' Shamsul Kamar.

The agreement was signed at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition.
