Lausanne, Switzerland-based aircraft management, charter and training company Fly 7 Training has received FNPTII MCC / FTD2 approval by FOCA, Switzerland's civil aviation authority, for its Frasca-built Pilatus PC-12 NGX flight simulation training device (FSTD) that was delivered earlier this year.

The FSTD is installed at the Fly 7 Training facility in Lausanne and is being used for initial and differential training and commercial company courses. Starting in January of 2022, Fly 7 and Pilatus will offer initial PC-12 NGX training and the FSTD will be leased to European AOCs.

The device features a three-channel 220 degree Frasca visual system with various European custom visual databases as well as original Honeywell Advanced Cockpit Environment system.

"This is the first PC-12 NGX simulator in Europe and another milestone for the future of the PC-12. Pilatus is proud to have partnered with Fly 7, to further enhance the PC-12 training possibilities and increase the Pilatus customer experience," says Pilatus Aircraft director sales and marketing Matthias Luder.
