4Air aims to reduce carbon emissions for NBAA exhibition
All carbon credits through 4Air are verified through leading international standards that validate, issue and register credits, including the American Carbon Registry, Climate Action Reserve and The Gold Standard.

The 2021 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition has partnered up with 4Air, an aviation sustainability solutions company, to fund a range of carbon offset credits to mitigate attendees travel to and from the exhibition, in addition to the greenhouse gas emissions of the event itself.

The Boston based company offers private aviation sustainability solutions beyond carbon neutrality to address climate impacts of all types. It does this to achieve meaningful aircraft emissions counteraction and reduction by using carbon markets, sustainable aviation fuel and new technologies.

All carbon credits through 4Air are verified through leading international standards that validate, issue and register credits, including the American Carbon Registry, Climate Action Reserve, Verified Carbon Standard and The Gold Standard.

“We're proud that NBAA-BACE will be one of the first and largest carbon-neutral aviation events in the world,” says Ed Bolen, NBAA's president and CEO.

Conference attendees can vote on the CO2 reducing projects that will be supported through the carbon credits. They can choose from: wind energy produced in Oklahoma; a forest management project in Massachusetts; and greenhouse gas emissions reduced in Florida during the production of materials used in automotive and aircraft manufacturing.

“Given that NBAA-BACE brings together leaders of the business aviation industry from around the world, offsetting the carbon generated by their travel to the conference as well as the conference itself is the perfect platform to demonstrate how attainable carbon and emissions neutrality can be for their own operations,” concludes Kennedy Ricci, 4Air's president.
