First convertible AL40/42 simulator lands in China
The AL40/42 device reproduces the Diamond specific interior cockpits and flight decks. Changing from the DA40 to the DA42 is quick and easy, achieved by swapping only the dashboard and centre console.
The simulator includes a real Garmin G1000 NXI and GFC 700 autopilot/flight director.

Alsim has sold an AL40/42 reconfigurable flight simulator to Sichuan Longhao Pilots Training. The simulator will be installed at Longhao's Jingmen branch. This will be Alsim's first AL40/42 convertible in China.

“The reputation of Alsim is well known in China,” says Sichuan VP Wang Hai Jia. “The quality and service proposed by Alsim is the main reason for this purchase decision. We are very glad to start our cooperation with Alsim and are looking forward to receiving and using the device for our daily training this September.”

Alsim global business development director Mike Tonkin adds: “We are very proud to include Sichuan Longhao Pilots Training Co in the Alsim family of clients and partners. We have spent some time with our partner PCAT to visit and discuss with the Longhao management team with the common objective that Longhao joins the Alsim family. We look forward to many years of collaboration and helping train the Chinese pilots of the future.”
