Krasnodar, Russia-headquartered Simavia has taken delivery of a Piper PA46-500T. “This is the most budget-friendly full-fledged turboprop aircraft for flights, which solves the problem of rapid movement,” states owner Simon Mnoyan. “On average, I fly 200 hours a year. It helps a lot in the activity of business trips, especially during the pandemic. Moreover, regional commercial aviation in Russia is very poorly developed. I bought the first such aircraft 11 years ago, and it is still the best one. Based on my experience, I recommend it to my friends.”

Simavia recently received a certificate of maintenance for Daher TBM aircraft in Russia and became its sales representative.

Mnoyan concludes: “The challenge we face in our region is a poorly developed network of private GA airfields. We depend enormously on the state of the economy, and it is very difficult to forecast during the period of sanctions increasing against Russia.”
