Leased aircraft to embark on Algerian ops
Two Beechcraft 1900Ds and a LET 410 are part of a transaction between Air Express Algeria and ACIA Aero Leasing. Two aircraft arrived this month, with the remaining Beechcraft due to join the operator in March.
Preparing for departure to Algeria.

Air Express Algeria (AEA) has taken delivery of one Beechcraft 1900D and one LET 410 from ACIA Aero Leasing. The deliveries took place in February 2021. These aircraft are part of a three aircraft transaction with the third aircraft, a further Beechcraft 1900D, scheduled to deliver in March 2021.

AEA has served the oil and gas industry since its establishment in 2002. Based in Hassi Messaoud in Algeria, it provides medical evacuations and passenger, VIP and light cargo transportation.

Established over 20 years ago, ACIA Aero Leasing is a regional aircraft lessor with offices in Ireland, Mauritius, France and South Africa. It manages a current aircraft portfolio of over 50 regional passenger and freighter aircraft which are on lease to operators in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America. Through its strategic partnerships, ACIA can provide airlines with turnkey leasing solutions from dry leasing through to full ACMI and charter operations.

This transaction will bring ACIA's total portfolio of aircraft operating in Algeria to nine.
