Jet Rescue demonstrates ECMO prowess once more
Jet Rescue recently pulled out all the stops to transport a 58-year-old male patient from Clinica Oca in Monterrey Mexico to the National Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea. It's another ECMO flight record.
The transportation conditions required extreme precision.

Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, a medevac specialist operating in Mexico and Latin America, has repeated its world record civilian ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) flight by transporting a 58-year-old male patient from Clinica Oca in Monterrey Mexico to the National Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

“The 58-year-old patient developed acute respiratory and cardiac failure secondary to COVID-19,” says Dr. Victor Cervantes, medical director of Jet Rescue. “This is the second time in three months that our medical team has performed this challenging transport.”

“The fact that Jet Rescue is flying ECMO missions on a regular basis to Asia is a testament to our unique critical care transport skills and equipment. We are trusted by payers and families who need urgent transport of critical cases,” adds Carlos Salinas, CEO and COO of critical care.
