Wilmington is third home to FlightSafety G280 training
The Wilmington Learning Center is FlightSafety’s third Gulfstream G280 training location and home to its fourth simulator for the aircraft. The other three G280 simulators are in service in Savannah and Dallas.
The simulator is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion PlaneView 280 avionics suite.

FlightSafety International is offering training for the Gulfstream G280 aircraft at its Learning Center in Wilmington, Delaware.

“We look forward to providing Gulfstream G280 operators with a wide range of high-quality training programmes at our Wilmington Learning Center,” says Nathan Speiser, executive VP of sales and marketing. “FlightSafety is proud to serve as the exclusive authorised training provider for the G280 aircraft. We work closely with Gulfstream to ensure our simulators and training programmes reflect the exact operating characteristics of the aircraft and meet the highest standard set by aviation regulatory authorities around the world.”

The Wilmington Learning Center is FlightSafety’s third Gulfstream G280 training location and home to its fourth simulator for the aircraft. The other three G280 simulators are in service in Savannah, Georgia and Dallas, Texas.

“Offering G280 training in Wilmington demonstrates our commitment to provide customers with conveniently located programmes and additional course scheduling flexibility,” adds Speiser.

The simulator is equipped with the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion PlaneView 280 avionics suite. It features a Dual flight management system with LPV and RNP capabilities, an Integrated Flight Information System, and a Head-up Guidance System with Enhanced Vision System to allow for training on EFVS Touchdown and Rollout. The simulator also features FlightSafety’s CrewView collimated glass mirror display, VITAL 1150 Visual System and new advanced instructor operating station.
