NATA promotes CleanFlying and David Allen Certified
NATA has entered a partnership with FlightAware in support of the CleanFlying coalition, along with a member benefit to provide aviation businesses with discounted access to David Allen's disinfection programme.

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) has announced a partnership with FlightAware in support of the CleanFlying coalition, a not-for-profit group of private aviation stakeholders that is committed to promoting and implementing best health practices in the post COVID-19 era for the safety of passengers.

The CleanFlying coalition was formed with a focus on sharing health safety measures undertaken by the business aviation community that will help drive demand and utilisation of private aviation.

“The mission and work of the CleanFlying Coalition amplifies our commitment to promoting adherence to the highest standard of health and safety in protecting what matters most; employees, clients, corporate assets and the general public. We are proud to be a part of an industry-wide movement dedicated to supporting a safe journey,” says Ryan Waguespack, NATA senior VP. “We've seen an influx of new passengers in this time of COVID. The more we can do to highlight the dedication of our industry in addressing their needs through NATA Safety 1st Clean and support of CleanFlying, the more we will see continued growth for private aviation.”

NATA has also announced a new member benefit to provide aviation businesses with discounted access to David Allen Certified's disinfection and protection training and certification programme and licensed vendor programme.

“We have been proactive in providing aviation businesses the most relevant, timely programmes and guidance to assist them in operating during the COVID-19 crisis and as we move to recovery. We were most excited about the David Allen Certified programmes' ability to not only provide our members with enhanced cleaning and protection services to maintain their own operation, but also the potential to develop a new line of revenue,” states Waguespack.

David Allen Certified relies on decades of expertise and experience to offer detailing, disinfection and protection services, as well as training and certification and licensed vendor programmes. Its recommended process is a two-step approach. Step 1 is to clean and disinfect surfaces and Step 2 is to provide a protectant that has proven efficacy against bacteria, germs and viruses for up to 30 days.

David Allen Certified has long recommended a two-step process for both disinfection and protection,” says founder David Allen. “This is not our first pandemic where we have helped clients manage through, although the last was some time ago back in 2009 with the outbreak of the H1N1 pandemic. I am passionate about making a difference and more importantly bringing trusted information to clients. As the country opens back up, it is imperative that the frontline team members and companies in the travel industry have the necessary knowledge and resources to appropriately disinfect and protect their place of business and corporate assets. I am happy to bring my expertise, proven technique and programmes to the general aviation industry through this relationship with NATA.”

The new partnership will give NATA members the option to train staff on the proper cleaning, disinfection and protection techniques for their own operation or certify them to become a provider of these services for their customers.

David Allen Certified provides the following services and business opportunity.
