MySky's risk mitigator appeals to operators
With MySky, owners, operators and consultants can leverage IT tools to automate essential tasks including data administration, benchmarking, budgeting and reporting. SaxonAir, Fly 7 and Avcon Jet are on board.

AI-powered spend management platform MySky is reporting 60 per cent growth in the first quarter of 2020. As COVID-19 continues to disrupt the global economy in unprecedented ways, private aviation stakeholders are showing a heightened interest in spend management tools that help users mitigate financial risk, enhance performance and stay organised. With MySky, owners, operators and consultants can leverage proprietary IT tools to automate essential tasks including data administration, benchmarking, budgeting and reporting.

“At MySky, we have made it our mission to provide private aviation industry stakeholders with easy access to spend management tools that are critical to financial efficiency and transparency,” says Christopher Marich, co-founder and global strategy director of MySky. “This is important now more than ever, as stakeholders are looking for innovative ways to save time and money. We are confident that our spend management solutions can help them do that, and we hope that owners and operators around the world will take advantage of our product suite.”

With operations across Europe, the Americas and the CIS region, MySky boasts an extensive client roster of some of Europe's most prominent aviation companies. Included on this roster is SaxonAir, an aircraft management firm in the United Kingdom. "At SaxonAir, we pride ourselves on total transparency. In addition to operating several fixed-wing and rotary aircraft for our clients, we are also experienced aircraft owners," says Alex Durand, CEO. “We understand that aircraft ownership is a costly business that can quickly spiral out of control without effective and robust financial management processes. We rely on MySky to equip us and our clients with the necessary tools to capture costs and save resources now, and properly plan for the future.”

Additional clients include Fly 7 Executive Aviation and Avcon Jet. “At Fly 7 Executive Aviation, we specialise in operating smaller aircraft with higher volume operations, which makes it even more critical that we have access to detailed financial tracking and cost optimisation,” said Yves Roch, CEO of Switzerland-based Fly 7 Executive Aviation, part of the Jetfly Group, which represents more than 50 aircraft and is the largest Pilatus PC-12 operator in Europe. “By accurately tracking and managing our spending, we can ensure complete financial transparency and optimisation with our customers, and drastically elevate client satisfaction.”

Maximilian Maruna, COO of Vienna-based Avcon Jet, one of Europe's three largest business aviation companies, adds: “MySky's automation tools have consistently helped us address scalability challenges and increase efficiency, thereby giving us an effective competitive edge. The platform helps us strengthen our existing relationships with owners, and has also become an integral component of securing new business. Having access to MySky's product suite at a time like this, when the economic landscape is so uncertain, is a significant advantage for our business continuity.”
