Presidential appoints worldwide maintenance head
Charter and management company Presidential Aviation has a new head of maintenance. Martin Rodriguez is tasked with expanding the company's services from its south Florida base.
Martin Rodriguez brings his years of maintenance experience to south Florida-based Presidential Aviation.

Fort Lauderdale Executive airport-headquartered Presidential Aviation has appointed Martin Rodriguez as director of maintenance. Rodriguez previously served as chief operating officer and director of maintenance for other aircraft management and charter companies in the Fort Lauderdale area, where he managed the maintenance, flight operations and finance departments. In these roles he was responsible for maintaining 22 business aviation aircraft, including the 72-month and 96-month inspections.

Before that he served as general manager at Hop-A-Jet Worldwide, where he was responsible for the Part 145 repair station and the Part 135 maintenance of aircraft, along with overseeing the maintenance technicians and quality control. Rodriguez has previous experience as an AMT and A&P mechanic, all of which will assist him in overseeing the maintenance operations at Presidential Aviation.

Rodriguez is bilingual in English and Spanish. He holds a MSc in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is currently earning his MBA in Aviation.

“We are pleased to announce Martin Rodriguez as the new head of our maintenance department. He is a professional leader and is sure to be a true asset to our management team,” says CEO Oscar Arce. “We look forward to utilising his skills to expand our aircraft maintenance services in the future.”
