JetHQ appointments support company growth
Daut's hiring continues a busy period of growth for JetHQ. The company has filled multiple team and leadership positions throughout the year to match the growth in its US based operations.
The son of a helicopter pilot in India, Aman Kapur learned to fly, and skydive, while studying at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Aircraft transaction and brokerage company JetHQ has welcomed two sales managers, a technical analyst and an aviation veteran to its experienced roster. Sales manager Jamie Roberts and technical analyst Steven Pinkerton have joined the company's US headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, sales manager Aman Kapur is based at international headquarters in Dubai, UAE and John Daut becomes vice president of sales in New York.

Daut has extensive sales and leadership experience, including 15 years in aviation sales, and heads up JetHQ's east coast base of operations from White Plains. He most recently served as a base president with Jet Linx. “John has seen all facets of the aviation world,” says JetHQ managing director Garett Jerde. “He's sold memberships, cards, fractional and whole aircraft, as well as leading strategic projects. His perspective in the aviation marketplace is unique and enhances our offerings to a large base of clients.”

Daut had profit and loss responsibility for Jet Linx's New York base, where he sold franchises and memberships throughout the northeast. He also supervised operational aspects of the base, including hiring pilots and maintenance technicians, negotiating hangar and fuel contracts and other management duties.

Prior to Jet Linx, he served as a sales director for Nextant Aerospace, and he also spent nearly a decade with NetJets and its predecessor, Marquis Jet Partners, helping grow the fractional and membership-based company. He holds a BA in economics from Rutgers University.

Roberts, Pinkerton and Kapur will work with vice president of marketing and sales management Jill Plumb to manage markets and sales efforts and promote the company's aircraft inventory globally. Plumb came to the company in February. Roxy Rosales, who has been with the company since 2015, recently joined the team after being promoted to sales support.

“Aman, Jamie and Steven bring a high level of talent to our group, ensuring valid data and technical oversight to complicated global aircraft transactions,” says managing director Garett Jerde. “Adding their invaluable skills to the team provides our clients with a superior level of service and expertise.”

Kapur earned a BSc from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an MBA from Babson College. The FAA-licensed pilot focused on Gulfstream and Beechcraft sales in his native India with Arrow Aircraft, and served as an analyst with KPMG.

Roberts served as a marketing director for Airport Systems International, facilitating the sale of millions of dollars in contracts. She has independently provided marketing consulting services and research for a variety of corporate clients and holds an MBA from Northern Illinois University and a marketing degree from Missouri State University.

Pinkerton holds a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has worked as an FAA-licensed aircraft engineer, completing repairs and maintenance work to strict FAA standards and inspecting vital aircraft components for their airworthiness.
