Speedwings Executive Jet has added a managed Phenom 300 to its fleet. The aircraft, which is now available for charter, is based at Payerne airport, Switzerland, where Speedwings launched a new FBO and premium aircraft residence earlier this year. The low-time 2016 model is said to be in pristine condition.

Speedwings COO Samuel Werner says: “The addition of this popular super light jet is an exciting milestone for us because on one hand, this is the very first Swiss-registered aircraft available for charter under our own Austrian AOC, and on the other hand, this addition confirms our know-how in business jet management, strengthening our position in the super light jet segment.

“At last, we have also secured a long term hangarage contract for our brand new outstanding premises in Payerne airport.”

The best-selling light business jet in the world seven years in a row, Embraer’s Phenom 300 offers next-generation avionics, generous cabin space, a revolutionary interior, low cabin altitude and favourable performance. It can fly up to 1,700 nm and carry up to nine passengers.

Speedwings now operates a fleet of three Phenom 300s, one Citation Excel, a Citation Bravo and a Citation CJ2+ under its own AOC. A brand new Embraer Praetor 600 is also joining the fleet. In May, an order was signed with Swiss manufacturer Pilatus for two PC-24s, which are planned for delivery in 2021 and 2022.
