PrivateFly up in Europe this quarter
A year on from joining Directional Aviation's OneSky family, PrivateFly continues to generate year-on-year charter growth; its latest quarterly report reflects 26 per cent more flights in Europe.
PrivateFly saw its European flight activity up 26 per cent in Q3 of 2019.

UK-headquartered PrivateFly has published its Private Jet Charter Trends report for Q3 2019, which looks back at flight activity for the period between July and September. CEO Adam Twidell comments: “Our new report reflects a very busy summer at PrivateFly, particularly in Europe where our flight numbers were 26 per cent higher than last summer. Demand growth was generated from new and existing PrivateFly clients, and from our extended OneSky family.

“Our market-leading pricing, including the certainty offered by our fixed route City Pairs offer on the Nextant 400XTi and Legacy 600, proved attractive over the seasonal peak in Europe. And our brand's visibility continues to increase since joining OneSky last year, which has brought many benefits to us as a business, including strengthening our relationships with operators and the industry at large.”

OneSky's Andrew Collins adds: “We've always been impressed with PrivateFly's efforts to analyse and disseminate the market and it's great to see this latest report reflect such a strong period for the team and the brand.”

Findings from the Q3 report show that the Nextant 400XTi was PrivateFly's most-chartered aircraft, followed by the Citation XLS and Legacy 600; London, New York City and Nice were the top three flight destinations worldwide, with Ibiza and Paris not far behind; and 63 per cent of PrivateFly's online flight searches took place on a mobile (versus desktop or tablet), up from 51 per cent last year.
