Ditmeyer to manage Gulfstream work at West Star
West Star had no hesitation in snapping up Mike Ditmeyer when the opportunity presented itself. Having spent time in the Air Force before being granted his A&P licence, Ditmeyer has a broad skillset.
Mike Ditmeyer has more than three decades of industry experience.

West Star has welcomed Mike Ditmeyer as Gulfstream operations manager at its Chattanooga, Tennessee facility. With more than 32 years of aviation experience under his belt, Ditmeyer has already served as a maintenance technician and SR operations programme manager for Gulfstream. He received his A&P licence after completing four years as a B-52 crew chief in the US Air Force, stationed at Castle AFB in California.

“We are extremely privileged to have Mike join the West Star family,” says Steve Goede, general manager at Chattanooga. “His extensive expertise, broad leadership skills and valuable business relationships will enhance the programmes and services we offer.”

Ditmeyer adds: “I appreciate the opportunity to apply my specific skill set and continue my aviation career with West Star. I'm excited to work closely with my team and provide techniques to assist the department to continue to operate cohesively and efficiently.”
