Seidel heads up Swiss consulting group
SAC continues to adapt for future expansion through corporate development. The consulting group's new CEO has a background in aviation, management advisory and asset management.

Swiss Aviation Consulting Group has appointed Roland Seidel as chief executive officer. The appointment reflects the company's growth strategy, particularly in the field of its technology leveraged compliance management services.

Seidel is a former head of technical asset management services for a Swiss transportation company and was acting deputy CEO of Lufthansa Systems Flightnav products. He is a seasoned leader with a proven record of improving the performance of customer centric service companies by accelerating revenue growth at the same time as promoting process efficiency. He has a strong aviation and management background and holds degrees in aerospace engineering and business administration.

“With more than two decades of high-profile leadership positions in both large organisations and boutique-type firms he has all the experience to support SAC's young management team in growing its asset management, training and advisory services,” says SAC founder Dr Daniel Lütolf. “SAC's service delivery is increasingly leveraged by in-house developed cutting-edge information technology. Technology is transforming our business model and the way aviation companies work with their suppliers in general. We are excited to have Roland Seidel in our team, to enable us to take maximum advantage of the huge growth potential we have by serving the aviation industry.”

Roland Seidel will take over the CEO role from Lütolf as of September 2019, allowing Lütolf to concentrate on his role as executive chairman of SAC's holding company.

“In my previous roles I have had the privilege working with highly skilled and dynamic teams in well established companies within the travel and transportation sector,” says Seidel. “Now it is time to transfer all that experience to a growing team of impressive aviation professionals to further develop SAC's success.”

SAC is an independent aviation services and advisory group with headquarters in Hünenberg/Zug, Switzerland and affiliates in the UAE, Malaysia and South Africa. The company was founded in November 2005 and offers aircraft centric services such aircraft asset and continuing airworthiness management (CAMO+), as well as organisation-centric advisory and compliance management and individual training services.
