Naples Jet Center at Naples Municipal airport in Florida has received certification from the national civil aviation agency of Brazil (ANAC), allowing it to perform airframe, engine and avionics maintenance on certain models of jet and turboprop aircraft registered in Brazil.

“The ability to service Brazilian-registered aircraft is vital to our continued growth in southwest Florida,” says CEO Matt Hagans. “We are proud to have partnered with Embraer and worked with ANAC in Brazil from the beginning of the Phenom's introduction to the US market in 2008, and we intend to continue maintaining the fleet with the utmost precision and professionalism. In fact, our first Phenom 300 customer from Brazil has already arrived in Naples to complete a scheduled 72-month airframe inspection series and hot section engine inspections on the installed Pratt and Whitney PW535E engines, all completed here.”

The company's quality control and operations staff dedicated the better part of a year to securing the ANAC certification. The preparation included translating all repair station manuals to Portuguese, along with additional requirements exclusive to ANAC.

“We are known in the industry as Phenom pioneers and Twin Commander experts and have previously offered support for those popular models with approvals in Mexico, Colombia and Venezuela, and now are able to expand our offerings to much more of South America,” Hagans continues. “In the near future, we will extend our support to include additional aircraft models, including Cessna Citation and Beechcraft Hawker jets, better servicing the needs of Brazilian aircraft owners and operators.”
