UK charter opertor SaxonAir has added an Embraer Phenom 300 to its fleet. The 2016-manufactured aircraft G-KRBN will be ‘hot based’ throughout Europe, operating from various key hubs. With no permanent home base the aircraft will be able to move quickly from one airport to the next, from flight to flight, using ad-hoc parking arrangements where necessary. The addition brings the company's fleet to nine jets and four helicopters.

The Phenom 300 has a range of 1,800 nm and cruise speeds of up to 450 kts, and can transport up to eight passengers from London to Moscow. SaxonAir believes it offers good comfort, performance, operating costs and safety, making it a popular charter choice.

“Entering another aircraft into the market with no owner's release and no fixed base strengthens our Europe-wide presence significantly,” says charter sales manager Jack Hellewell. “We have aircraft bases at Stansted, Luton, Farnborough and Norwich, as well as Cannes in southern France, and we expect to keep this aircraft flying consistently with competitive point to point pricing.”
