Voluxis launches in London and Dubai
Formerly known as Interflight, Voluxis will look to deliver a bespoke service by limiting itself to 10 aircraft each in Europe and the Middle East. Hawker and Falcon types are already on fleet.
Ben Banda has significant regulatory and operational expertise.

London Biggin Hill-based air charter operator Interflight has rebranded as Voluxis and brought in a new senior management team.

Holding a worldwide AOC, the company currently has three aircraft in its fleet comprising a Hawker 800B, a Hawker 800XP and a Falcon 2000, which are based in London and Dubai.

The company is looking to work closely with brokers, offering branding opportunities such as bespoke mats to those booking more than two charters. Voluxis promises a flight attendant on each of its flights.

A new senior management team is headed up by accountable manager Ben Banda, who has more than two decades of industry experience in ops, air traffic control, business jet management and safety. He has previously worked on UN and NATO contracts and has experience of working within the regulatory framework of EASA, the FAA, the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia and the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.

“We have experienced over-whelming feedback from aircraft owners that the service they receive within large aircraft management companies is not in line with their expectations for charter revenue and personal service,” says commercial director Sam Heather. “Voluxis promises both of these to its owners, and we have a policy of no more than 10 aircraft per region.

“Our first addition was a Hawker 800XPi and we are hopeful to add further aircraft to the fleet by the end of the year. Our Hawker maintenance facility remains as Interflight Aircraft Maintenance, and this branch of the business has exceeded all performance expectations, continuing to grow month on month.”
