Middle East operators Arab Wings and Gulf Wings, both part of the International Wings Group, have signed an agreement with Honeywell to receive a full suite of GoDirect cabin and cockpit connectivity services on more than 20 aircraft. These technologies will enable crew and passengers to stay connected via inflight wi-fi during flight.

As part of the agreement, Honeywell will provide worldwide very high frequency and satellite datalinks for all capable aircraft in the operators' growing fleets. With Honeywell's GoDirect portal, Jordan-based Arab Wings and UAE-based Gulf Wings will be able to track data usage across every aircraft, providing operators with real-time information to better manage network costs and monitor individual user experiences.

“There is high demand for solutions that help passengers stay connected in flight and provide pilots with real-time information to enhance the flying experience,” says Arab Wings CEO Ahmad Abu Ghazaleh.
