Crew expense management and hotel bookings app Down-Route is set to open for business after gaining support from several operators. Finesse Executive general manager Steve Finch has called it a 'unique technology' offering 'real time control', while Sovereign Business Jets sales director Barry Chalmers remarks that the direct hotel pricing is very attractive to his global operation, keeping everything in one place.

Air Alsie sales manager Tom Carstensen adds: “We were really interested to hear about the Down-Route app. The idea of getting good rates for our hotel bookings and then linking straight into an expenses management feature is something new and we are looking forward to being one of the first to see the benefits of the product.”

The app will be available to download on Apple and Android devices and developed after launch to incorporate social media, table and theatre booking.
