Signings continue for corporate AW169 in UK
Two further AW169 helicopters have been sold in the UK for corporate transportation. The aircraft, sold to undisclosed customers, are scheduled to be delivered in 2016.

Two further AW169 helicopters have been sold in the UK for corporate transportation. The aircraft, sold to undisclosed customers, are scheduled to be delivered in 2016. This latest contract brings the total sales of AW169 helicopters for air ambulance and corporate/vip transport applications in the UK to 13.

The 4.5 tonne AW169 has been designed to deliver high performance, the latest safety standards and offers multi-role capabilities. It is the first all new helicopter in its class in more than 30 years.

Its avionic suite has a full, digital NVG compatible cockpit with three eight inch by 10 inch displays and touch screen technology, with enhanced graphics capability for maximum situational awareness. A four-axis autopilot with dual flight management system allows for single or dual pilot VFR and IFR operations.
