GlobeAir announces mobile app partnership with JetSmarter
GlobeAir of Linz in Austria has announced a partnership with JetSmarter, a mobile application that enables users to book private jets from their smartphones.

GlobeAir of Linz in Austria has announced a partnership with JetSmarter, a mobile application that enables users to book private jets from their smartphones. The operator, which has the world's largest fleet of Citation Mustangs, will offer JetSmarter customers flight options across western Europe in cities including Paris, Rome, Vienna and London.

With this joint venture, empty flights within GlobeAir's inventory will be listed on the JetSmarter app as empty leg deals, and offered to users at reduced prices. All accessible flights will be for short-distanced destinations throughout western Europe.

“The app world has completely changed the way we manage our daily lives, as it provides consumers with instant solutions at their fingertips,” explains Bernhard Fragner, ceo of GlobeAir and newly-elected member of the BACA council.

“By partnering with JetSmarter, we believe that we are approaching a new era of private jet travel, where the booking process is as simple and enjoyable as the experience on board.”

Adds JetSmarter ceo Sergey Petrossov: “Through our collaboration with GlobeAir, our user base will expand significantly, allowing them the option of choosing private jet accommodations for shorter trips at reasonable prices.

“By partnering with a leading private jet company in Europe, we have elected to strengthen our business model of 'democratising' airspace, and offer consumers a new way to travel.”

GlobeAir's vlj fleet is capable of landing at airports typically inaccessible to larger aircraft, such as St Tropez, Lugano and St Moritz.
