Mission success in the Middle East

It is widely believed that the aerospace sector in the Middle East is continuing its growth and is increasing passenger traffic despite the economic slowdown. This positive trend creates the synergy for inward investment and the development of joint ventures between regional operators and MRO companies.

Euravia Engineering, the UK PT6 MRO Turboprop and Turboshaft specialist, has been successful in securing major contracts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf.

Euravia is currently finalising negotiations for the imminent establishment of a new 'state of the art' engine MRO facility for helicopter and fixed wing aircraft engines in this vibrant region.

Euravia believe that the key for long term business relationships in the Middle East, are met by being candid and proactive in meeting Customer requirements. Euravia has recently received a formal recognition for achieving 'Mission Success'. Euravia's Managing Director, Dennis Mendoros, said: "In the current turbulent economic climate it is important that we deliver dedication and excellence to both Civil and Defence operators, who are able and committed to maintain a sustainable growth as they are the engines for recovery."

Euravia is committed in offering value for money and maintaining the highest technical standards. Therefore, Euravia is continuously investing in acquiring new technology and capabilities which, in turn, provides cost efficiency for Customers by reducing operating cost and improving efficiency. Mendoros said: "The Middle East and, more specifically, the Persian Gulf are emerging as the growth sectors for aerospace and for this reason we are cultivating long term partnering arrangements with key strategic stakeholders in the region."
