Hunt & Palmer's Julie Black acknowledged in Sapphire Pegasus awards

Julie Black, executive aviation manager for bespoke air charter broking company Hunt & Palmer PLC, is the proud recipient of the Sapphire Pegasus Business Aviation Awards Women in Aviation Award following an awards evening held in Geneva on 29 May.

This prestigious accolade recognises the achievement of women who have defied the odds in the aviation business and made their mark through active presence and foremost contributions. Awards in this category are presented to women who have strived hard to propel positive developments and initiatives that have changed the aviation industry landscape alongside their male counterparts. Women nominated in this category of awards have acted in various leadership and organisational capacities across all facets of the industry.

Julie won the “Woman in Aviation Award” for her services to the industry spanning more than 20 years, and in particular her hard work and dedication as a council member with the charter industry body, BACA.

Accepting her award at the ceremony, Julie said, “To be amongst such fine company within the industry and my fellow nominees, I am proud and pleased to be working in this wonderfully exciting world of aviation.”

Chairman of the UK based Hunt & Palmer group Jeremy Palmer said, “Julie joined us in 2017 and has quickly made a very positive contribution to our highly regarded and well established broking team. We have always supported her in the work she does for BACA and we are of course delighted that her efforts have been recognised in this way.”
