MT-Propeller has manufactured and installed its 20,000th constant speed propeller.

Andrew Birrell, the owner of the 20,000th MT constant speed propeller, flew in from the UK with his KingAir 200 with installed BLR winglets and Blackhawk XP61 PT6A-61 turbines. At MT-Propeller's facility at Straubing-Wallmuehle airport (EDMS) the Whisper Props/MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(P)/CFR225-55f were installed to give the airplane the jetlike comfort with an overall improved performance. Mike Carpenter, president of BLR, also flew in from the US to congratulate the new owner on his Whisper Props.

Since the MT turboprop line was established in 1999, more than 2,000 five-bladed turboprops out of a total of 20,000 delivered propellers have been handed over to customers around the world.

The MT five-bladed props have become an industry standard with more than 300 five-bladed turboprops delivered in 2017 alone. With a TBO of 3,600 hours/six years and unlimited blade life, these propellers add a higher value to any aircraft.

MT-Propeller is the world leading natural composite propeller manufacturer with 30 propeller models from two-blade to six-blade hydraulically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 5000hp, and two-blade to four-blade electrically controlled variable pitch propellers for engines producing up to 350hp as well as two blade fixed pitch propellers.

130 million fleet hours have already been performed on MT-Propellers. The first MT-Propeller was shipped 35 years ago.
