Cat Air Service awarded International Business Aviation Council ground handler certification for FBO in Zurich

Swiss ground handling company, Cat Air Service, has received official International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) accreditation at its fixed base operation based at Zurich Airport.

The IS-BAH certification is a market-led code of best practices from the International Business Aviation Council and the National Air Transport Association. It focuses on standardizing the highest levels of safety and security for ground handlers and FBOs in the global business aviation industry.

After parent company, Air Service Basel, received its IS-BAH certification last year for its excellence in ground handling and FBO services at the EuroAirport Basel, it didn't take long for Cat Air Service to reach the same milestone.

“It's an absolute privilege to be receiving this accreditation.” says Cat Air Service general manager, Robert Whitehead. “We are still a fairly new and humble Swiss company compared to the global network FBOs based at Zurich Airport. So, it's a great achievement for us to be officially recognized for our hard work and dedication to our customers and the quality of the services we provide.”

Created in 2014, Cat Air Service is a joint venture between Swiss companies, Air Service Basel and Cat Aviation AG. The company provides expert aircraft handling and excellent customer care for business aviation customers. Cat Air Service is the only company to have an airside lounge at Zurich Airport, providing passengers and crew a unique and unrivalled service.
