CAE maintains leadership in business aviation upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT)

CAE has announced today at the 2017 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) that it has completed the instructor station updates on all 36 of its EASA approved full-flight simulators in five different training locations with the necessary instructor tools for the next phase of Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). CAE's full-flight simulators have been updated with instructor tools to monitor pilots' technique and ability to recover from upsets at high altitude within the aircraft's performance envelope.

"The customer feedback on our UPRT program has been tremendous," said Nick Leontidis, CAE's group president, civil aviation training solutions. "With this next phase of recovery training, we felt it was important to give our instructors optimized tools to continue to provide the best training in the world to our customers. In fact, we received excellent reviews by some of our key large fleet operator customers, such as TAG Aviation, Luxaviation, Gama Aviation, Global Jet and Elit'Avia".

Last year at EBACE, CAE announced the launch of its business aviation Upset Prevention and Recovery Training program with the first phase focusing on prevention. This year marks the transition to the next phase for CAE with the addition of recovery training.
