DC Aviation reports that it has successfully installed an Aviator 300 and a UCS 5000 made by Gogo Business Aviation LLC. This is the first time worldwide that these two components have been integrated into the currently existing cabin system of a Bombardier Challenger 604 business jet and registered with a supplemental type certificate by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

The Aviator 300 SwiftBroadband system equips the aircraft with satellite-based and hence worldwide available internet connectivity by means of a WLAN. The UCS 5000 component functions as a file server with or without wireless connection for the entire cabin and entertainment management system. Together, the two systems provide an ideal combination of business and entertainment electronics.

As Gogo Business Aviation's official distributor, DC Aviation is now in a position to offer all Gogo products for sale and to install them into various types of aircraft as needed.
