Boutsen Aviation

Aircraft Sales/Acquisition

Press Release

Issued by Boutsen Aviation.

February 10, 2017

Boutsen Aviation sells 15 aircraft in 2016 and is already taking off into 2017

The team at Boutsen Aviation closed 2016 with a record of four sales in December alone. As the year came to an end, the Monaco-based company sold two Gulfstream and two Falcon 7X, adding to the previous 11 aircraft sold throughout the year.

Founder and chairman Thierry Boutsen closed the sale of a G550 in Basel, Switzerland, just one week following the sale of a GV in Luton. Simultaneously, president Dominique Trinquet “killed two birds with one stone” with a double sales transaction of Falcon 7X s/n 011 and s/n 028 in the United States. “Gulfstream and Falcons have definitely been two of our bestsellers this year” remarked Mr. Boutsen following the closing of the G550.

The four Gulfstream sold last year (two GVs and two G550s) have all been through Premium PPIs at Jet Aviation Basel to ensure the planes were in ideal form and condition when transferred to the buyer. “We are always careful in structuring our transactions to include the best service in commercial, technical, legal, and administrative procedures” continues Mr. Boutsen, “The Premium PPI at Jet Aviation ensures that the buyer knows exactly what he's getting; this extra care and attention to detail guarantees that all parties are completely satisfied in the end.” He concludes, “We have had very positive feedback from our clients, including both buyers and sellers.”

While Gulfstream and Dassault have been among the more popular models sold by Boutsen Aviation in 2016, the company has also sold a diversity of other aircraft models including the Global 5000, Cessna Citation V Ultra, Piaggio Aerospace Avanti II, Challenger 300, Leonardo Helicopters AW109SP, and Airbus Helicopters EC135P2+ Hermès edition.

Additionally in December, Boutsen Aviation signed four new exclusive brokerage agreements for G550 s/n 5301, Global 5000 s/n 9405, Global XRS s/n 9339 and Challenger 604 s/n 5624.

“We keep the momentum at full speed” concludes Mr. Boutsen, “Since the 1st of January we have already sold Hawker 800B s/n 258056, King Air C90A s/n LJ-1158 and King Air C90GTi s/n LJ-1913, and we have just closed a Challenger 300 transaction. As 2017 will also mark the 20th anniversary year of Boutsen Aviation, our entire team is going into it 'pedal to the metal!'”
