Nexus announced today that it has signed an MOU with Sichuan Gang Tai General Aviation, Ltd. (GTGA), continuing its strategic expansion in China. GTGA is a progressive commercial property developer based in the southwest China region committed to growing the general aviation industry in the region.

“With GTGA, we found a great partner that shares our interest and urgency in expanding the general aviation industry in China,” said Abdullah Al-Sayed, founder and chairman of Nexus. “We see vast potential in the southwest China region, and, like us, GTGA thinks big.”

In signing the MOU, Nexus and GTGA have agreed to jointly develop a comprehensive general aviation training academy and flight school under the Nexus Aviation Academy brand. The companies will also explore ways to jointly pursue the rapidly growing drone market in China. Finally, the companies will focus on how to bring the successful Nexus Concierge Services to the Chinese general aviation market in the southwest China region.

Nexus and GTGA have agreed to work expeditiously to bring the terms of this MOU to fruition and expect to begin offering professional aviation training in Chengdu in early 2017.
