Jet Aviation celebrates 10 years at FBO executive terminal in Dusseldorf

Jet Aviation has marked its 10th anniversary at the FBO executive terminal in Dusseldorf.

Jet Aviation began providing VIP handling services from its 1,000 square-meter FBO terminal in Dusseldorf in June 2006, just in time for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Since that time, the award-winning FBO has refurbished the crew and executive lounges; introduced courtesy vehicles for customer use; added new services; expanded its foothold in Germany with new handling stations in Berlin, Schönefeld, Berlin Tegel and Münich; and entered into a partnership with Kurz Aviation Service to provide a total network solution within Germany through the additions of Cologne, Egelsbach, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.

To commemorate its 10th anniversary Jet Aviation Dusseldorf hosted an event for members attending the German Business Aviation Association's (GBAA) quarterly meeting in June. Distinguished guests included Jet Aviation customers, aircraft owners and operators, charter and trip support providers, GBAA representatives, Dusseldorf airport authorities and members of the finance community.

“Exactly 10 years ago, the same day as the opening game of the 2006 Soccer World Cup, the late Lord Mayor Joachim Erwin officially launched the use of our terminal, which was baptized by countless soccer fans travelling to the three closest stadiums of the FIFA World Cup,” says Frank Kusserow, Jet Aviation's FBO managing director in Germany. “As the only FBO facility at Dusseldorf International Airport, we continually strive to surpass the expectations of our customers for who personalized service and the highest standards are still essential ten years on.”

Jet Aviation Dusseldorf was recently presented Shell's Double Platinum Safety Award for 2015 in recognition of its outstanding Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) performance record of zero incidents for six consecutive years.
