Boost for JETS MRO as Dassault extends authorised service centre approval

A new five-year term of approval for London Biggin Hill based JETS as a Dassault authorised service centre has recently been agreed for the Falcon 900 and 2000 series.

The extension to their current appointment has provided a boost for JETS at a time when the company is significantly expanding its capability and their work-force. The number of LAE's has been increased to 20 within a total staff complement of 38. Growing market demand for minimum down-time for hard-working business jet aircraft has also enabled JETS to introduce a seven-day per week, 12 hours per day shift pattern for the engineering department. This will provide for customers a full maintenance service from 7am to 7pm across 364 days in the year.

A further innovation by the company is the introduction of a dedicated AOG/line maintenance support unit. Equipped with a state-of-the-art fully equipped response vehicle, JETS can now provide experienced LAE's at short notice and around the clock. The AOG service is not only available within UK and throughout Europe, but team can position rapidly by air to customers in the Middle East to return an aircraft to immediate service or arrange a ferry to a maintenance base.

JETS GM Paula Hutchison says that British aerospace engineering is widely respected world-wide: “British aeronautical engineers provide a stamp of quality and JETS is now moving into a strong position to meet customer expectations with satisfaction. As a company, we welcome the extension of airport operating hours recently agreed for Biggin Hill and anticipate that this situation will, in turn, help to further build new business and create new jobs opportunities.” she says.

As well as approval for Dassault aircraft, JETS hold parallel approvals for Bombardier, Cessna, Hawker and Dornier aircraft.
