Dassault to dispatch customer support personnel at 2016 global events

Dassault will offer an expanded range of on-ground services to support customers at this year's major events.

In addition to standard onsite troubleshooting provided by Dassault, dedicated technical teams and offsite resources are available at nearby Falcon authorized service centers. The teams will be backed up by a dedicated Falcon 900 Airborne Support aircraft that, in addition to AOG support, can offer alternative lift to customers.

The special event support effort will kick off at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, scheduled for January 20-23. The forum, which brings together intellectuals, business leaders and heads of state from around the world, results in an unusually large influx of business aircraft at Zurich and nearby airports.

The Dassault team dispatched on-site will work in coordination with the three Swiss-based Falcon authorized service centers which are certified to perform maintenance on all Falcon models. Additionally, spare parts from Dassault's Paris-Le Bourget distribution center can be delivered onsite within three hours.

Dassault will also provide operator support at a number of other special events this year, including Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California (Feb. 7); the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida (Feb. 21); the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia (Apr. 7-10); Art Basel in Switzerland (June 16-19); the European Soccer Cup, France (June 10-July 10); and the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro (Aug 5-21).
